Abby Road - Abigail Sosinski

Due to popular demand, I have caved in and decided to create a travel blog. Tonight is my last night in Kansas City. I fly out to Chicago tomorrow afternoon and leave the country 6pm tomorrow night. I'm nervous, excited, scared, anxious...Wish me luck!

Go away already~

I have been sick on and off this week and haven’t accomplished much.  I only got two prep period’s worth of observations in.  I stuck out the entire week on a sour stomach.  I was in a really bad case Tuesday night, and even skipped class Tuesday and Wednesday nights.

I was better come Thursday, just still a little faint-hearted when it came to eating.  I started gaining a better appetite by yesterday afternoon until we came home from dinner last night.  I lost it all, if you know what I mean.  I ended up getting sent to bed early, told I could not stay up to grade papers.  I woke this morning a little bit queasy, but have been fine all day.

I went to my brother’s baby shower.  He is in Reno, NV, right now, but his girlfriend is so beautiful!  She cleaned out with gifts and diapers!  I am so excited that my little niece will be here soon.

As I sit here, I am eyeing my pile of books and binders for my classes.  I have neglected my homework all week.  I am putting it on priority to finish my homework before grading papers.  I even brought home the wrong papers to grade.  I should have brought home the projects to grade.  I will be pushing myself to get those done Monday!

Speaking of Monday, I have a parent-teacher conference with Leilani’s teacher.  I am afraid she is not applying herself totally to her work.  He teacher assures me she is, for the most part, at school.  But I want to see and hear this for myself.  I am afraid Leilani may need to get tested for learning disabilities.  She is just easily distracted and is having a hard time focusing on certain things.  Chris was the same way growing up, and I am thinking perhaps she may have inherited some part of that.

Anyway, I need to dig out my homework planner and see what needs to get done.  Plus, my dad just called me on the phone, so I am off to be the studious type.
